One of the highlights of our time in Morocco was spending a few days in the Sahara desert! I lugged almost all my camera stuff the whole trip (six weeks in a backpack), envisioning a sweet night shot or sunset in the desert. Well, it was more like a sandstorm! We had fun though. Perhaps the highlight was picking up a nomad in the MIDDLE of the desert...and having him ride on top of our toyota landcruiser as we flew through the rocky desert! Crazy. Beats walking thirty miles, though.
