My grandpa spends over half the year living on the beautiful Pelican Lake, and has for decades. This place obviously has special importance to him, and the family. These days he spends his winters and springs in Chanhassen, until the weather perks up a bit.I thought he might like these pictures of the ducks on Utah Lake. While they probably don't compare to the Minnesota loon, at least they can remind him of the Lake.
